Welcome to the celebration! ABLE United is celebrating their first anniversary and they want YOU to celebrate with them! In honor of their ONE YEAR Anniversary, ABLE United has announced that fees will continue to be waived until July 1, 2018! Yay!! 🎉

ABLE United stands for “achieving a better life experience”. Signing up for ABLE United is the perfect way to do just that. One of the biggest worries for people with disabilities is financial. You will worry no more with ABLE United and here’s why. Until last year, people with disabilites never had the option of saving for their future. There was always the worry of being penalized or losing their government assistance. You can now save money (up to $14,000 per year) while maintaining federal benefits thanks to the ‘Florida Achieving a Better Life Experience Act’, which was signed into law by Governor Rick Scott on May 21, 2015! 🎉

Being that I am the Mom to my severely disabled son, this really takes a big weight off of my shoulders just knowing that this is available! The independence and quality of life this will bring to my son gives me the reassurance that I really need. He is a teenager now, so adulthood is just around the corner and his future was a huge concern for our family.

Who is eligible?

1. The individual with a disability must reside in Florida at the time they apply.
2. Have a qualifying disability
3. The onset of the individual’s disability must have occurred before their 26th birthday.

Mission Statement:
To encourage and assist the saving of private funds to help persons with disabilities cover costs that support their health, independence and quality of life.
